In summer 2025 I contacted Jonathan after observing a bat in my home. Jonathan came that day, provided clear and valuable information and offered solutions. We opted to have Jonathan install long term exclusion materials (mostly describing custom cut metal which sealed gaps allowing animal access to home) to prevent future incidents. Jonathan worked at our home several days to complete the extensive project (work along roofline, upper home exterior trim, vents, etc.) Jonathan was a great communicator in person and via calls/texts, and as part of his services will continue working with us as needed for the next year (or longer). Jonathan was open to feedback and was accountable for results. I was worried about the of mole activity in our yard after moving into a new house in Guilford within the last year. Jonathan is exceptionally knowledgeable & listened to my concerns over the phone and explained if/when/how he would recommend managing a high level of mole activity (bottom line, if it’s a safety hazard for folks with limited mobility walking across the grass, or if it is a significant aesthetic concern/worth the investment to pay for trapping). I was still feeling iffy, so he offered to come out and take a look at the property with me, which was very helpful and appreciated. Even though he would have personally profited more had I decided to use his services, he was very honest that he did not feel like our property needed it at this time, but made it clear that it was a very personal choice re: priorities. Although we ultimately decided not to pursue the moles, I can attest that he is well-versed in local wildlife, pleasant to interact with, and I will absolutely reach out to him for any future wildlife trapping needs that may (but hopefully do not) arise! Jonathan came out to me due to a flying squirrel seen in my office eves. He sealed the upstairs of my home so the squirrel(s) could exit but not return. He also discovered mice and was able to escort them out as well. I called Soundview Wildlife as my current pest control service were about 3 weeks before they could send some one out to assess the situation. I have since canceled their service for the interior of my home and will be calling Jonathan instead. He is clearly an expert in his field. I got the critter out, but I needed to prevent other critters from getting in! Jonathan was prompt spent a lot of time walking around my basement and property and pointing out potential problem areas. He was knowledgeable answered all my questions and concerns. He explained that most important was exclusion not trapping. He returned the next week and performed the exclusion around my back stairs where I had lattice. He put other material there to prevent critters!!!
